Join us to explore The Queen’s Orchard at Greenwich Park in all its spring glory. Learn about seed sowing, growing and composting techniques, with the park’s gardening team, and learn about food growing and seasonal eating from the team at GCDA (Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency).

Free activities will be on offer for people of all ages.

Useful information

  • The Queen’s Orchard is managed throughout the year by Greenwich Park’s gardening team, supported by a dedicated group of volunteers.
  • The space is open to visitors every week (March to December) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 3pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm (except the 3rd May).
  • The Queen’s Orchard space is wheelchair accessible, and is located nearest to ‘Creed Place Gate’ in the park, on the corner of Maze Hill and Park Vista.
  • The closest available toilets and refreshments can be found in the Greenwich Park Playground, and the closest Changing Places facility is located by the Ignatius Sancho Café (by the Vanbrugh Park Gate entrance to the park, near the top of Maze Hill).
