The Ignatius Sancho Café

You'll find the recently-opened Ignatius Sancho Café in the southeast corner of the park by the new Learning Centre and Vanbrugh Gate.

The café building was previously a private, residential lodge and sits within a newly landscaped space called Vanbrugh Yard, which has been transformed from a concrete yard into exciting community facilities. In addition to the café, there are accessible toilets, a volunteer hub, and a community kitchen garden.

Open daily for breakfast including freshly baked pastries, vegan yoghurt pots and breakfast rolls.

Our lunch menu includes bagels, toasted sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps, salads and delicious ice cream and sundaes. There's a tantalising choice of cakes or a traditional English cream tea for an afternoon treat.

By dining at one of our catering outlets, your purchase contributes to the care, upkeep, and protection of the vital green spaces in which they operate.

Dogs are welcome on the paved area outside the café provided they are on a short leash.

Opening hours

8am – 4pm every day.

The new café has free-to-access public toilets, including accessible Changing Places toilets.
