Greenwich Park cricket grounds
Cricket on a summer’s afternoon – an iconic sight in an iconic setting.
Through the summer, we mark out the Ranger’s Field close to the Blackheath Gate entrance as a cricket pitch. It’s fully maintained to a high standard, with one square, and there’s even a cricket pavilion with changing facilities and showers, and a small kitchen.
Season start and finish
Our Cricket season run from May to August.
- Weekdays match start time: 4pm
- Weekends match start time: 12pm

Conditions of use
Please be mindful of playing conditions as a wet table can cause damage which could make a wicket unusable for up to three weeks.
Bookings are responsible for all First Aid provision throughout the entirety of your stay within The Royal Parks.
Do's and don'ts
Please do
- Leave the Cricket Pavilion clean and tidy and lock up when finished.
- Leave the posts as you found them, if you are playing a Saturday fixture. This is key as the groundsman will not be available to make good for the Sunday game.
Please do not
- Wear rugby/football studs on the table or the outfield.
- Lay any drying agent (sawdust) on the wicket.
