Planting is a brilliant and easy way to help nature thrive. Hedgerows provide fantastic habitat for birds, shelter for small mammals, and flowers for pollinators.
Join us at Petersham Gate Playground* in Richmond Park to plant a sapling and enjoy our free nature activities. All tools and plants will be provided and all ages are welcome, so come along to leave a positive mark in Richmond Park by planting a tree or shrub that will form part of our new wildlife hedgerow.
Drop-in any time between 11am – 3pm.
*Please note that Petersham Gate playground is currently closed for improvements until later in the Spring. Please visit Petersham Gate playground | The Royal Parks for updates.
